I am a dual board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 24 years of nursing experience.  I originally graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997. I began my nursing career by working in various critical care clinical settings. After graduating from the University of Louisville in 2007 with my Masters in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner I worked with Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. At the HCH clinic I provided both medical and mental health care services for the homeless citizens of Louisville, KY. Many of which had psychiatric and medical conditions along with chemical dependency.

It was at the HCH that I realized the significant need for mental health services. In 2016 I returned to school to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and have been working in private practice since graduation in 2019.

I bring years of experience working with patients from all demographics, economic classes.  I am dedicated to providing knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and affirming medication management services. I believe in working in a collaborative partnership with you to help you reach your mental health goals and to live your best life.
