Meet Lorri King
FNP, PMHNP-BC, CRNP
With over 28 years of experience in the healthcare field, I am a dual board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. My journey began in Community Health Care at Healthcare for the Homeless, where I saw firsthand the profound impact that accessible, high-quality mental health support can have on a person’s life. I earned my PMHNP from Frontier Nursing University, specializing in the neurobiology of mental health and the latest advancements in psychopharmacology.

I believe that the most effective treatment happens when a provider truly listens. My practice is built on a foundation of partnership and transparency; I am here to provide the clinical expertise, but you are the expert on your own lived experience. By combining a holistic nursing philosophy with modern tools like pharmacogenetic testing, I help my patients navigate challenges ranging in severity. My goal is to create a non-judgmental, virtual space where you feel safe to explore your path to wellness and empowered to take control of your mental health.

The PMHNP Difference: Holistic, Expert Care
Choosing a PMHNP means partnering with a provider who views you as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms. Our training is rooted in the nursing model, which emphasizes the intersection of physical health, lifestyle, environment, and emotional well-being. As advanced practice nurses with specialized psychiatric training, we provide the same high-level diagnostic and prescribing capabilities as a psychiatrist, but with an added focus on holistic advocacy and patient education. At Abundant Life, we bridge the gap between the biological "science" of medicine and the compassionate "art" of healing, ensuring your treatment plan is as comprehensive as it is clinically sound.
