As a dual board certified Family Nurse and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 28 years of nursing experience, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1997 and began my career in critical care settings. My journey led me to the University of Louisville, where I earned my Master's degree in 2007. At that time, I had the privilege of serving the homeless community in Louisville, KY. through Health Care for the Homeless. In 2016, I pursued further education to specialize in mental health. Since graduating in 2019, I have been committed to making a positive impact in private practice.
My dedication to high-quality patient care is fueled by the belief that every individual deserves more than just medical treatment; they deserve a tireless advocate for their well-being. I approach every interaction with a commitment to clinical excellence and a deep sense of empathy, ensuring that safety, dignity, and cutting-edge evidence-based practices are at the forefront of my work. Driven by a relentless pursuit of improvement, I continuously refine my skills to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare landscape, transforming routine care into a standard of excellence that empowers patients and honors the trust they place in me.
